Chaotic Collisions

Chaotic Collisions will be an angry birds inspired game for the 2024 Athena Game Jam at Teeside University!

Wha?! A sandwich god of some kind? Don't be ridiculous! (Also... Yes that sandwich has apple slices in it as well as cheese and ham... DON'T ASK!... It was kinda nice...)

The theme is chaos and as such you can do very chaotic things!... Though in all seriousness... The main part of the game is the fact it is a normal angry bird clone... BUT... it does something random every time you collide with something!

There are 35 different effects!... Listed further down for convience! (Was going to be 100... but time constraints... It's only supposed to be a small game... <INSERT THIRD EXCUSE HERE>)

You can also create levels and share the codes with those in the threads! OH! Also, you can play a level and then head to the level creator in order to make a recreation of that level!

Collision Effects:

1. Flips the screen!
2. Turns screen into an old-style TV!
3. Inverts all the colors on the screen!
4. Makes the "Bloom" effect brighter... Essentially makes lights glow brights!
5. Makes the screen slightly blurry!
6. Makes the screen black and white and with film grain! (Film grain gives a feel of old reel animation... if that helps)
7. FOV! Makes the FOV super weird and zoomed!
8. Makes the screen "Horror"... Well... Kinda...
9. Swaps all the images around!
10. Makes all the images BADLY DRAWN DUCK... Quack!
11. Makes all images the Sadwich... Wa!
12. Makes you EXPLODE!!!
13. Makes gravity not exist for about... 3 seconds! (3 seconds is actual amount...)
14. Creates a teeny tiny... not that scary or powerful... BLACKHOLE THAT ABSORBS ALL AROUND IT AND GETS BIGGER THE MORE IT DOES SO UNTIL THERE IS NOTHING!
15. Number 15. Burger king foot lettuce.
16. A  FROSTY FLARE of a reference to a character from something after this game's time...
    
17.  All objects in a radius around the collision become ice!
18.  All objects in a radius around the collision become wood!
19. All objects in a radius around the collision become... guess what! Stone!
20. The pitch of the music speeds up! Also, the speed of the game does too!
21. The pitch of the music slows down...! Also, the speed of the game does too... This can result in a technical game over if you are unlucky enough to get this enough to stop time all together... if so... I feel sorry for you...
22. 16... but three of them!!!
23. BADLY DRAWN DUCK rain! It rains ducks! much da-mage, huge pow!
    
24. 16... but a stampede of them! Ok... this is the last
    
25. The game becomes space invaders for a bit... In a good way!
    
26. Some strange plant like creatures come from the sky... They seem to shoot... peas? Is this a reference?!
27.  A flock of bee-irds (Bee Birds) Come flying through dealing huge damage to everything!
28. Two birds... (with one stone! Haha! Though... not really... but...)
29. Makes the music... acapella? ... Why?
30. Makes the music go in reverse?... Also why?!
31. A... Wait... A GUN?! Why does a gun appear from the sky that can be launched?
32. A "Chaos Symbol" appears pushing things around and causing a flurry of effects!... Yes... there is an actual symbol for chaos... search it up!
    
33. IMMA FIRIN' MA LASER! BWAAA!
34. You split into three... This could get heptic!
35. A link to a certain... music video famous for being a prank... opens up... rollin' a rick...
